Sunday Evening Post

The week in iPhone Photos.

My son snuck away for the weekend to the DC area with his grandparents.  He spent some quality time with Tiger Woods.

I jest.  That photo is actually a wax replica of Woods taken at Madame Tussauds.

Here he is hanging out with my mother-in-law.
Again, I am pulling your leg.  That is a wax replica of Michael Jackson.
My mother-in-law is much darker complected.

So I was getting dressed for work Monday morning and was instantly ridiculed by my wife and son for the state of my under-garments.  I thought I'd be funny and write "Gucci" in Sharpie on the side...

I guess the joke was on me when I pulled on my "Chanel" socks.
I am a freaking hobo.

The award for best dinner went to our version of steamed cheeseburgers.  We filled ramekins with grass-fed beef and steamed them to juicy perfection.  Hands down, my favorite burger ever.  The last cup  contains sharp american and cheddar which was poured on top.

My wife and I get a lot of positive feedback about The Sunday Evening Post.  She even receives photo texts from friends who want to share moments they captured.
This one comes from a local parking lot because we all know that when you are fortunate enough to find a Du-Rag that fits all head sizes, you just cannot wait to get home to put it on.  Thanks for sharing, Jen.
I think.

This is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.
-Shel Silverstein

Nine habaneros, one can of pineapple chunks, and tomatillos.
I give you the hot sauce of the week.
Read all about the health benefits of capsaicin.

 I dunno.
From the look on his face, I think my nephew just got pinched for shoplifting at Trader Joe's.

All the way from Wisconsin, a photo of a sick Dad with two sick kids.  Not shown is the sick Mom taking the picture.

I am all about animals.  I was raised by a pack of dogs - but a Pet Amber Alert?  I vote for a name change.  Anyway, if you see Kaely Bean, call the number.
Believe it or not, a whippet bit off a piece of my mother's nose.
True story.

I was called in to give blood this week for three reasons:  I have universal donor blood, it is good for pediatrics, and I have the strength of ten men.
They once gave my blood to a three-year-old and he bit a brick in half.
Not a true story.

 And on the Sixth Day,
God looked down from the Heavens and created Helen's Sausage.
And He said it was good.
And it was.

The week ended with dinner at Kindle in Lewes with friends.  My wife ordered mussels and for the next four hours, Squeeze's "Pulling Mussels" ran through my brain.
So here it is.

So you next week.
