Sunday Evening Post

Pictures from the week.
Eli came for a visit with his mother and father on Memorial Day.
He's a swinger.
Nyuk Nyuk.

I imagine it's tough to look this serious while riding a plastic squirrel, but Terry pulled it off.

Giant doctor's bag as art near Newark.
Anytime I got a fever as a kid and hallucinated, objects would look huge like this.

The calendar that hangs on our pantry door.
Both of these characters are still around, but Speedy just got his arm ripped off and Green Arrow now executes criminals.
Why can't comics still be fun?

This little lady eyed me all through lunch at Bangkok restaurant in Dover.

Peanut chicken curry in coconut milk with potatoes and onions.
Good stuff.

We popped in for a visit with my sister-in-law in Philly.  It was a pleasant time.  She treated us to lunch and showed us the Bodine Street Community Garden.  It is a fabulous place where city folk grow veggies.

It has all kinds of great murals on its walls.

A shot from the front gate looking into the garden's walkway.

My sister-in-law asked if she would make the Sunday Evening Post.
No.
But her foot did.
Thank you for your hospitality, Morri.

Max and his Sunday morning picnic partners.

Parting shot.  My son and his cousin walk off into the sunset.
See you next week.
