Super Sunday Evening Post

A special king-size edition of the Sunday Evening Post
free to all paying customers.

It was beach week for the family unit, and we travelled great distances (34 miles) to exotic Rehoboth Beach for vacation.
We were blessed with a visit from Mira and her family, who showed us how to kick it on the sands west coast style.

Here is Mira's Mom, Susan, throwing a mean shoulder tackle on her during diaper change.

Master Tan and his lowly disciple, Adobe, caught up on politics, family life, and of course, the fine art of crab eating.
Time with Pierre, Susan, and Mira is time well spent.

"But more wonderful than the lore of old men and the lore of books is the secret lore of ocean."

Eli manning the gun at Funland.

A father and son who end up sword fighting on top of a building.
Where have I heard that story before?
Oh, yeah...

This tale would have ended very differently if light sabers were replaced by chopsticks.

Sushi at the Cultured Pearl.

Listen, I'm all right with the fact that you let the youth and disabled shoot clay targets, but I draw the line with women.
What are you, a bunch of savages?

Free Fall.

I thought this was a neat photo.  I shot it through an aquarium at a restaurant toward the bar on the other side.  I always wondered what it would be like to hang in one spot all the time, watching the world go by, surviving by a liquid.
(I was talking about the fish!)

I finally discovered what lurks in those holes in the sand.

Smile.

Bumper car action.

She's awaiting a special delivery from the Banana Man.

Check out my Father's Day present-
A super cool Punisher coffee mug!
What did a guy like me deserve to get a son like mine?
Thanks, Max.

Here is the photo with the biggest news from the week.  They actually started construction on our house.  Read all about our home endeavors at Modern House on Main Street.

See you next week.

  2. Who doesn't love a blog where your daughter is the lead and an HP Lovecraft quote is thrown in for good measure? Always good to see the Cox clan, come see us in August when the Buckos are in SF! We'll rent the Re-Animator just for kix . . .
