E headed to the first day of kindergarten.

He got some new ink for the occasion.  On his left forearm it now reads:

"Born to Learn".

We are fortunate to have a local outdoor ice cream and Italian ice joint in walking distance.  That way you can justify the indulgence by saying

"I'll walk it off."

M completing the 31 Heroes workout at Crossfit.

Someone left a bag of dog poop next to a tree in the park.

You shouldn't have.

Neat special effects are available to us now at L and I.  M made it look as if he was part of a creepy twin duo.

My wife and me in Easton, MD, checking out a restaurant called Brasserie Brightwell.  Good eats, great coffee.

The name is too close to brassiere, though.

Change it.

A had a "Save the Whales" themed birthday party.

Happy B-Day, and kudos to Chef Dad for baking that one up.

L snatched up a bushel of crabs.

It wouldn't be right to not have at least one crab-picking event before the summer is over.

Sort of hard to see, but that is a wild turkey strutting around my yard.  There are parts of my property that I don't mow and I always give the excuse that it is natural habitat for animals

(I'm just lazy, but this bolsters my defense).

One tradition that we hope to continue is my Mom's mac and cheese.  She made a mess of people happy with it as we made certain that we procured her recipe.
