Sunday Evening Post

Spring sprung forward on this day and everyone came scrambling out of their igloos to fill the sunny streets.
The week in pics.

In between snows we drove down to Rehoboth for a reprieve from the same four walls.  We happened upon a nice time at (a)muse, a restaurant on Baltimore Ave.  They have fantastic family-style meals on Sunday and Thursday nights.  This is the chicken fried steak, kale, and mashed potatoes.  Dessert was lemon pound cake.

The boardwalk ski slopes were open.

Thank you D, for my homemade coffee cup sleeve!

I told my son to shovel the driveway.
He was not fond of the idea, so he decided to "text" me this message in the snow.

Hamantaschen for Purim.

Baltimore snow.  Dad's cheeks might be cold, but his chin is toasty warm.

M's aunt hooked him up with a cake decorating class at Charm City Cakes.  Here are a few examples of what is possible:
Here he is dutifully at work on his own...
...and here is the final result.

Cut flowers have kept the winter blues away.

This Mom tried to make her child levitate during a nap.
Some say weird.
I say Wiccan wonderful!

Young man, those glasses are far too small for your face.  Fortunately, your knee-high boots balance them out.
Why is it only kids can be fashionistas?

I thought my wife would like that I left a four-foot snake skin on the kitchen sink for her, but it turns out I was wrong.
I did fry it up for dinner.
It tasted like pork rinds.

This very cool book caught my eye at the local library book sale.
I did say that I wanted to exercise more this year..

Come on, push it!  One more nasal labial smoother!
Bros know when they get their burn on:

Sure, everyone remembers the lame-o Hardy Boys, but how about them Power Boys?
Durnango was a master of the crouching tiger, while his brother Tyrone could pull up trees by their roots.
Let's not forget about Nuke-o, their radioactive dalmatian, either!

My buddy sent this cool shot of Blue Eyes and Lou Gehrig hanging out in the dugout.
I think it's pretty obvious that Sinatra was paying the Iron Horse off in a mafia game-fixing racket.
Say it ain't so, Lou.  Say it ain't so.

Today was my first official beach combing day.

As you can see, I took Cigar out for a walk on the sand.
Best dog I ever owned.

See you next week.
Or will we?
