Operation Pie Lunch: Week 3
The weekly pie for lunch was courtesy of Bob Evans (pictured) and his 1.6 billion dollar restaurant and food franchise. My wife and I met for pie and coffee at his Camden, Delaware establishment. She ate cherry. I had coconut cream. It was not homemade and it was not fresh. It was, however, very tasty.
The bonus was that we sat at the counter in cool swivel chairs and had a nice conversation with our waitress. All that was missing was Patsy Cline on the jukebox. Thanks, Mr. Evans. May you rest in peace.
Results: Pie for lunch is not only getting easier, it is becoming routine - and romantic!
