Sunday Evening Post

The week in pictures.

Something wicked this way comes.  It seemed everyone was sick all week.
Well, except me.
(I have the strength of ten men).

 And so it begins.
The road to Christmas is deviously paved with sweets.  Use caution.

My nephew donning his Rudolph Reindeer pledge cap.

A little snow hit us during the stretch.  The Buddha took it like a champ.
Be one with the cold.

This coffee will make your colon feel like a King.

 I pulled a neck muscle on a double-take when I saw this-
a bona fide banana hanger.  Say it ain't so, Joe.

 Wow.
I am trying to hammer a year out on this picture and I am guessing 1988 to 1990.
That is a lot of hairspray.
How many horsepower you figure those have?
Nyuk. Nyuk.

The early stages of the annual Christmas candy.

A sheet of butter toffee my wife made.
So far, I have been able to stay away.

So my better half makes these round white cookies and decides to put little gold candy balls on top.
Maybe it's just me, but they sure look awfully mammary-like.

My son went to NYC and brought back for his teacher a variety of candy from Dylan's Candy Bar.  He then proceeded to wrap it.
What a brown-noser.

See you next week.

  1. That Buddha in the snow is priceless...and put me down for a dozen of the boobie cookies.

  2. Those banana hangers are really handy. We've had one for several years now. I'm serious.

    Merry Christmas!

  3. Yet again you exceeded yourself Liberty with a great Sunday Post! You have a talent for capturing Moments of Life. Only thing, nothing about the Steelers game. Hmmmm.

  4. In case you missed the game:

    New York Jets 22
    Pittsburgh Steelers 17

    Sorry, I couldn't help myself. :)

  5. Yes, but the Fightin' Blue Hens of Delaware did win and are on their way to the National title. Go Hens!
