Sunday Evening Post

It is very similar to the Sunday edition of the New York Times
except the crossword is a lot easier.

"Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book!"
Sorry.
I got carried away.
My new binoculars were delivered this week.

I make pierogies once a year.  They are delicious, but labor intensive.  The one that is sliced open is filled with Nutella as requested by my son.

 Hanging around the house.

I received this photo as a text from my wife.  She thought it was compensation for latent Freudian issues on the owner's part, but looking at it gives me cold sweats.  When I was a kid and had fever, I always hallucinated and saw cars with giant tires driving upside-down on the ceiling.

 My wife is Jewish.
We had to stop by the store one night and she comes out with a bunch of Easter candy.  When questioned, she replied that she was feeling in the Spirit.
Oh really?

News flash, sweetheart.  Writing "Stay the F--- Away" on your candy is not very Easter-like.

 New perspective.
Only a few weeks before we begin building our house.

My son spent the weekend with his grandparents and had Sunday breakfast under the Washington cherry blossoms.
We are very fortunate to have such a great family.

Here he is with some Stradivarius violins (and a cello violin) at the American History Museum.
I used to have a Stradivarius, but I left it in a taxi cab.  Mr. T and some other wild characters found it for me.
(Or maybe that was a movie I saw - I can't remember).

I never envisioned Brer Rabbit so dignified.

That's more like it.

I know someone out there can name this plant.  Please let me know.

I saw this magnet at Whole Foods and it reminded me of my wife.
Vixen.

I also saw this T-shirt.  I love when things are done well.

Every time a child loses a mitten, a grandmother sheds a tear.

See you next week.
