While J went to Bedford Springs, PA with friends for mutual birthday R and R, the men-folk hit NYC for a Man-venture.

One of our favorite shows is PBS's "Mind of a Chef" which follows ramen guru chef David Chang around the world.  We stumbled upon his noodle bar as it was opening up for lunch and walked right in.  It turns out that the hype is valid because this was one of the best meals I have ever eaten.  I fell off the grain-free wagon for a day and I have no regrets about it.

I think M actually stopped talking for five minutes, so you know it must be good.

We walked the High Line, a walkway restored high above the city streets that used to be a rail system.  All sorts of natural plants and greenery cover the entire 1.5 miles.

Instead of New York pizza, we opted for late-night King of Pizza in Cherry Hill, NJ.

It came highly recommended from the one on the right.

I imagine in Hell, nothing works.  Public restrooms are always out of towels, cell phone reception is lousy, and you are always late for work.

The only thing that work correctly in hell are cats, and I am certain there are plenty of them there.
