The Sunday Evening Post.

Very nice, quiet Christmas and a few days off to reflect on all of our blessings.
The week in pictures.

My nephew never lets me down when he shows up for family dessert night.  Here he is donning ski goggles with a pick axe.

He designed this 3-D Christmas card and brought it over for some holiday cheer.

My Mom and I have been putting this bird puzzle together and I truly enjoyed the process.  Next up is a collage of presidents hanging out and playing cards.  Of course, they are all Democrat presidents, otherwise she would refuse to participate.

I saw this in the parking lot of the coffee house.  My theory is that a vibrantly dressed shogun warrior was run over by a ninja in an SUV.
Sayonara, honorable one.

This one came from a friend at a NYC wedding.

You saw it here first:
Beanbag chairs are back.

Time to roll out the family Christmas photos!

The D.E.

…And finally, Mom's macaroni and cheese.
Coveted by all, eaten by few.

Nothing like a spot of tea.
Check out that guy's dainty little hands.

I am a huge fan of kimchi, but my wife cut me off since it makes me smell like Pepe Le Pew.
Now I can only stare at its magnificence.  My wife took this pic at a Korean market in Wilmington.

Our favorite photographer (happy 40th Rick!)got to meet one of his favorite photographers in Philly over the weekend.  Kudos to the men and women who are capturing life one blink at a time.

Sunday pizza pie.

See you next week.

  1. Puzzles! Bill just completed one today. I have another in the wings for him. Kimchi, have heard awful things about the smell which you have just confirm and I will never put any down my pie hole. Loved the bean bag and….the foot. :) Have a happy new year!

  2. Kimchi is one of those things you know you shouldn't eat, but it is hard for me to stay away from. We got the beanbag chair online and it is nice to see how much better it is from the ones we broke open in the 1970s.

    1. "Kimchi made of fermented vegetables"…….isn't that the same as garbage? Wow. I'll take a pass. Cool beanbag.
