Sunday Evening Post

Slight chill in the air.
Leaves are starting to turn, and we are one week closer to Halloween.
The week in pics.

A beautiful home garden arrangement made its way to our home, courtesy of D.
Flower power.

When the Pirates and Giants played for the wild card spot, I bet a bushel of blue crabs (east coast) against a bushel of dungeness (west coast) with these two.
As you can see, San Fran is still in it and I have to buy some more Old Bay.
Oh well.
Give it up for the Bay Bombers!

My wife received this screen capture questioning her level of immaturity.

She replied with this photo.
It's actually the container that my new electric shaver was in.
I guess you gutter minds scored pretty high as well.

Walking out of the woods at the local trail.

We're pretty lucky to have it so close by.
This foot bridge was helping fall show off a little bit.

We slipped down to the beach mid-week and I treated myself to a half dozen oysters.

The moon looked massive over the ocean.
This picture doesn't do it justice.

There.  That's better.

 Bad news.
One of my groundhog neighbors passed away.
If you look closely at the top of the bell in the center of the picture sits a young vulture taking a break from the feast.
Farewell, Moniseur Groundhog.
You will be missed.

Spinach Ravioli-
a nice way to carb up and start tacking on some winter insulation.
Ciao!

Finally, grunge is back!
I dig the star socks and Soundgarden onesie.
All that is missing is a tiny flannel shirt tied around her waist.

Our shadows at the second haunted house visit for the month,
the Haunted Trail at Brecknock park.
Not as good as last year, but pretty solid.
Chainsaw at the end brings its rating up to a 3.5 tombstones out of five.

I have a pile of back-rubbing and stretching mechanisms that guests often pick up to try out.  Here is a shot of my brother kneading his wife's kinks with a three-pronged spiky roller.

My Son's Alexandria Archaeology Summer Camp shirt came in the mail.
Yep. Grunge is definitely back.
Sayonara, hipsters.

We say adieu with a parting shot of the automaton M created on the Sabbath.
See what can happen when you take a break from electronics?

See you next week!

    1. Sounds like a plan. Don't consider it stealing - think of it as file sharing. Have a great week!
