Sunday Evening Post

From the streets of Manhattan to the beaches of Rehoboth.  Our crack team of photographers
(of one this week) risked it all to get the best images to represent the week that was.

The ugly truth comes to light about dinosaur extinction- they fell in the tub during the bath-time-ozoac era.
No wonder adults only take showers.  Once you can no longer play with toys, what's the point?

Maple Bacon Frosting.
Wow.
I guess you could just slather your pancakes with it.

An action shot of kids riding electric animal carts through the mall. $8 for 4 minutes...sucha deal!

Awesome Sauce.
Chris Rock and Prince on SNL.
Prince is so cool that he can play the guitar blindfolded.
...And that somehow reminded me of Jeff Healey, a great blues guitarist who was blind.
Rest in Peace, Jeff.

Mazel Tov to the V-woman for becoming a Bat Mitzvah!

Here she is capping off her celebratory weekend with family and friends.
Ice cream.
Excellent choice.

My wife ended up in NYC.
I still haven't figured out how, but she came back with great images from the busiest city in the known universe.
Here is blue Lego man from an art gallery.

Pretty sure she took this for my benefit due to my theory that Asian women can wear whatever they want and they will always look great.
I have seen Japanese tourists in Central Park donning red butler suits matched with opened umbrellas and they look fabulous.

Part of me is worried that a spirit is trapped in this statue and that all it wants is a pair of pants.
(I know I would- considering it looks like he just finished a long swim in a really cold ocean).

Homemade apple butter and cauliflower curry soup.

Kid's time at the local library.
That is one happy plate spinner.

I daresay no one group is cooler than kids.  Little E totes his guitar with him everywhere.  He got to strum along with Miss Jackie.

"A" for effort in decorating your home for Halloween, but I won't be walking up your driveway for Trick-or-Treat.  Giant spiders creep me out.

Move towards the light.
Go into the Light.
This is what a near-death experience looks like.
I hope there is cake in heaven.

I love fall because he hooks me up with free pine straw every year.

On Sunday we walked three miles on the Gordon Pond State Park trail down south.  We were overtaken by these four blaring trance music from a giant radio attached to the back of that last bike.
Walt Whitman might have objected, but we liked it.

I spent a lot of the week checking out where my favorite professional wrestlers are now.
Sadly, I found that a lot of them are dead.
I got so choked up that I brought back my own pro wrestling persona-
The Sweet Potato.
My finishing move was the betacarotene body-slam.

I will end it with a photo of the sweatshirt that my son wants to purchase. On an ugly scale of 1 to 10, I gave it a 26.
Oh well.

Have a great week.

In tribute to Prince,
I wanted to share my favorite song of his.
Fortunately, that led me this -
 The Raspberry Beret...
(drum roll)
Line Dance.

  1. Fabulous photo montage this week! Of course I had my LMAO with the statue that needs a pair of pants. I have had those dreams where I am out in public without my pants, having forgot to put them on in my haste to get wherever I was going. Maple bacon frosting? Gag. Thanks for reminding me to pay a visit to Gordon Pond State Park. Haven't been there in over a year. Time for a return visit in the peace and quiet of autumn assuming the bicycling radio bike isn't there. Have a great week!

    1. I always have the dream that I am back in school with no pants and I keep looking for them by flipping through the pages of my text books. That has to say something about my psyche. See you, Ron.
