Sunday Evening Post

Giving thanks.
Taking pictures.
One more week.

Thanksgiving means mass consumption, so I was in dire need of some physical activity prior to the dinner.  Fortunately, I was turned on to a Turkey Trot 5K.  I weaseled my way into the number 21
(Rest in Peace, Roberto)
and ran my best time.

 We hosted the big event.
Good times had by all.

T brought along his banjo for the Friday morning serenade coupled with coffee.

I have spent a lifetime looking for the plant that smells like running rabbit dogs.
I finally found it.
Elliotts Goldenrod.
Check it out.
Smells like wet beagle.

My son put together the Lego White House.

Heavy artillery fire down the hallway.  Notice all the spent nerf shells.

 Turkey.
(Why can't someone make an all-dark meat bird)?

 Congratulations to E and M.
A happy marriage is like owning a vintage bomber  jacket-
It doesn't always look good, but it always feels right.

 The dessert after dessert -
Birthday cake.
I just recently recovered from the coma it all induced.

 Everyone pitched in to help.
Some more than others.

This guy had on a pair of red Doc Martens to match his red motorcycle and jacket.  He was also blaring the Whispers hit "And the Beat Goes On".

Sand play at the public park.

Thunderhead and umbrella pine purchased for the new home.

Apples to Apples, Uno, and bacon pizza with family friends.
Now that is a party.

The happy homeowners, taking it all in.
(Quite possibly a sin to be this content).

See you next week.
