Sunday Evening Post

We feel blessed by our friends, families, and pictures.
Shots from the week.

Hey, I'm no advertising exec, but is this really the best name they could come up with to sell a laxative tea?

Pretty patterns to prep for Thanksgiving.

It's good that the kids got another bike ride in before the weather turned too cold.

My wife sent some treats to a friend who is living in Ghana.  The friend publicized her appreciation on her Tumblr.  Brings a whole new meaning to "Cox in a Box."

Keep in mind that my wife is Jewish and can't keep an opinion to herself.

We hosted a bunch of friends and family for Thanksgiving.  It was the inaugural year for the Kids Table.

My son started a new Thanksgiving tradition.  He took a Japanese lantern he had received as a gift, and had all 17 of us write what we were thankful for on it.  After dinner, we gathered outside and sent it aloft.  It was a magical moment.
Z was mesmerized and momentarily speechless.

Thanksgiving kitchen pressure can hit high levels.  De-stress anyway you can.

My wife's sister and her family spent the night after the big meal.  We all headed north the next day to hit the trails and a few playgrounds with the kids.  It was a spectacular afternoon.

We found the perfect climbing tree.
Pee-Wee Height.

Mid-Size Height.

Call-the-fire-department-I'm-stuck
Height.

This is the ecstatic face of a five year old who has just learned how to snap her fingers.  Pure joy.

Mummified Eli.

See you next week.
