Sunday Evening Post

Busy seven days that ended on Cinco de Mayo.
Luckily, I got the developed pictures back from the drugstore in the nick of time.
(Remember those days)?

I found a Pirates ball cap in the road.
It could be a good omen for the Bucs.
I may sacrifice a goat just in case.

The one thing I remember from the film "Pumping Iron" is when Arnold Schwarzenegger said that milk is for babies and real men drink beer.  Thank goodness, then, for Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout.  Now you can have the best of both worlds.

I was invited to a swanky BBQ soiree that doled out the best pork and beans I have ever had the pleasure of eating.  Heavenly.

Super brainy junior high men at the honor roll breakfast.

You can ring the bell 'til the cows come home.
New deco at the farm.

High chair model.

The new fire pit being broken in.

The blessed age when they actually sleep.
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Being part of a family means making sacrifices, like driving an hour to go see a live simulcast of NPR's "Wait, Wait - Don't Tell Me".
Wait, Wait - I'm not getting those two hours back, am I?

Batman.

The first birthday bash of the week was a humdinger by the light of fireworks, accompanied by cupcakes, champagne, and the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.
Happy 50th, K!

Kids, never trust a clown by himself at the park, even if he's offering free burgers.

Always good for a laugh.

My son had a good time at a 4-H rocket launch and seminar.  Kudos to the club.

May 4th, Star Wars Day, as in "May the Fourth be With You".
All proceeds collected here were promptly stolen by Boba Fett.

The second B-Day of the week was up in Philly and included an impromptu jam session including bongos
(When does that ever happen)?
Happy 40th, M!

See you next week.

  1. An eclectic week for sure. Have a great week. Hopefully the temperatures this week will be more like spring time that the past month.
