Sunday Evening Post

Two smart phones.
Two people of average intelligence.
Seven days.
One week in pics.

Banquet Beer brought back fond memories during the annual golf tourney.
I haven't had one of these since high school
(Did I write that out loud)?

I have never witnessed a greater moment in golf than when P sank a 140 yard pitching wedge for eagle.

The last time I played this hole was when I was a junior in high school and disgustedly threw my driver into the woods after a horrendous drive.
I sent this shot to my old golfing buddy and he asked me to look around the 17th green pond for his putter.

I was able to sneak a shot of the shaggiest dog ever.
I win.

Unleashed the Bass Raider for the annual fishing tourney
(lot of annual stuff this week).
Second Place.

Oxbow took first at Preakness and I picked it!
Preak out!

Dozen raw oysters at Abbot's Grill in Milford.

Lego Sushi
(Don't eat it - for display only).

Broke bread with the in-laws, who drove into town for a school chorus and arts night.
Grand time.

The find of the week was Fordham Ale's wisteria wheat.  Nice summer ale.

Congrats to J and H on the engagement!

Tortilla Yoda.
Strong with the spice, he is.

Finished the week with dessert Sunday.
Muffin tin doughnuts.
Sweet.

See you next week.

I have been hounding on my son to read The Great Gatsby and now that a fancy-pants movie is out, he is all into it.  At least there is some good music with it.

  1. Abbot's Grill in Milford, I've been hearing good things about this place. It is on my "to do" list. Have a wonderful week!

  2. Definitely check it out, Ron. Happy hour every day with fresh oysters, fifty cents a piece.
